About ARC
Africa Resource Centre: Africa's Public Health Supply Chain Institution.
Our mission
Every day, thousands of professionals make sure that medicines and health products reach patients, and that they are safe. ARC helps countries build lasting capacity in their public health supply chains: people, practices and systems.
Our five strategic pillars
- Pathways to Equitable Access: train field staff at scale to reduce disparities, with modules for rural areas, in several languages, open to community staff, young people and women.
- Integrated Health Systems Partner: a catalogue of certified training for ministries of health and local teams, and support for national strategies.
- Innovating for Impact: spread digital innovations (AI, e-logistics, digital health) through practical modules and communities of practice.
- Building Systemic Resilience: keep training and know-how going in times of crisis, and build talent pools ready to take over.
- Sustaining Health Futures: continuous, certified training integrated into national systems, local experts, and sustainable financing.
Our four areas
- ARC Academy: training.
- ARC Think: the think tank.
- ARC Resource Centre: resources on all our areas of expertise, for members of our community.
- ARC Talent Hub: building talent pools, showcasing them and making them mobile.
